Thanalakchumi A/P Manickam
She gave up her rights to a career, marriage and having her own family and children and instead chose a lifetime of being a home maker in another’s home.
She had no career, but never lacked anything.
She had no husband to love, but she poured out her love on as many lives that intersected with hers, and for as long as heart, mind and body allowed her to.
She had no children of her own, but she dedicated her life to caring, training, feeding and advising every young life that she met, in particular her brother’s 3 sons and the grandchildren he never saw.
She was always introduced to people as ‘Akka’, and in her magnanimousness, influence and love, she truly became everyone’s big sister.
There will never be another ‘akka’ like her. We love you and will always miss you.
