There’s a difference between serving and following – the net result that the Lord wants, is not the service, but that we be with Him.
It’s easy to serve and serve and be very mechanical about our service, but following requires us to keep looking at the Leader, willingness to change our direction to follow the Guide, and frequent self examination to fully enjoy being in His presence.

Yeah… I totally agreed with the ‘we can serve and serve and be very mechanical bout it’. It’s so much easier to be a Martha, seemingly busy to serve than to be a Mary who chose what that’s precious. May the Lord help us as an assembly to follow!
